Dear families,
The end of the school year is just around the corner! Teachers and staff are enjoying these last few hectic weeks. As it gets busier and busier, we wanted to get some information out to all families about the last day of school schedule.
Please help us keep track of all our kiddos by completing the Google Form. Teachers will be spending the last day connecting with the students, sharing summer plans, and topping it off with lunch in their rooms or outside, depending on the weather. The entire school would then participate in the Red Carpet Goodbye Ceremony at 11:45, followed by dismissal by 1:05. Parents can plan to come to school after lunch for the Red Carpet Ceremony at 11:45.
Things to know for last day:
Please pack a sack lunch for your child. There will be no hot lunch served on the last day, although Paige will have a limited number of sack lunches for students who do not have their own. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and siblings - all are welcome to attend the Red Carpet Goodbye Ceremony! Please plan to arrive by 11:30 p.m. to watch the Ceremony which will start at 11:45. Parking will be available on the soccer field and on the frontage road. Most importantly, please be sure the school knows your child’s dismissal plans for the last day (see Google form.)   Below are the details for the Red Carpet Goodbye Ceremony: The Red Carpet Goodbye Ceremony will begin at 11:45 under the bell tower. As each class exits the Red Carpet, they will make their way to their class balloon, spread out across the bus lane. Parents will meet their children at their balloon, just like at the beginning of the year. After all classes have come through the Red Carpet Ceremony, Mrs. Pollitt will give our dismissal for the summer.

Teachers will have sign out sheets with them following the Red Carpet Ceremony. If you plan to take your children immediately following this ceremony, then please sign your child out with his or her teacher before leaving with them. This will save the school from having to call parents to track down students’ whereabouts. Around 12:30 p.m., remaining students that are bus, hug and go, or daycare will be dismissed to the gym. They will be supervised while watching a movie until 1:05. At 1:05 all students will have either left with their parents, departed on a bus, or will be in daycare.
