Academic Support

Elk Creek Elementary offers academic support in a variety of ways. Most academic needs are addressed in the classroom. Teachers provide support and small group instruction during the day to address student needs. In addition to classroom support, Elk Creek offers small group interventions in reading and other areas as needed based on academic data.

If you have academic concerns or if your child is struggling academically, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher. There is a Multi-Tiered System of Support team that meets regularly to review student data and identify appropriate supports and interventions. Classroom teachers can schedule time with this team as needs arise.
