Elk Creek Elementary School provides instruction for preschool and kindergarten through fifth grade.
Mission
Elk Creek Elementary is a caring and learning community. It focuses on an innovative and challenging curriculum that prepares all students academically, emotionally and physically for today and tomorrow.
History
Elk Creek Elementary School opened in the fall of 1989 and served more than 500 students in kindergarten through sixth grade. However, sixth grade was moved to West Jefferson Middle School in the 1990s. In 2017, the school welcomed prekindergarten (PK) students and became a PK–5 school.
